How long ago did Napolitano claim the border has been secured?

Yet just just the other week:

Border Patrol agents seize over quarter-million dollars in marijuana - The Deming Headlight

The vehicle made its way on NMSR 9 then headed south on an all-weather road near MM 65. The suspect's vehicle soon came to a stop just north of the U.S. Mexico international boundary.

And now again:

Border Patrol seizes half-ton of marijuana near Deming - El Paso Times

Officials said agents using a drug-sniffing dog found 1,004 pounds of marijuana after agents stopped the truck on New Mexico Highway 9. The truck's driver, Crispin Fierro, 30, was arrested.

I suppose, relatively speaking, when Napolitano and Obama claim our borders are now "more secure" than ever, they are, in comparison to official open borders. Obviously, as long as drugs and illegals continue to enter, our borders are far from being secure. Naturally, if they can enter, so can terrorists. Considering DHS has yet to develop measures to even attempt to determine what a secure border entails, they're clearly just blowing smoke to support another amnesty.

Total BS...Funny thing is we all know that if they used dogs and plenty of them to patrol the border the illegals would be quickly caught..Now it seems like the border patrol are the only ones out sniffin the air. This proves they just want to appear like they are trying to catch them..WHY NO FRIKKIN DOGS!?

Yes sometimes a border agent miles inside the USA does happen to stumble on an illegal and his big shipment of drugs, but the illegals and the drugs are not being stopped from making it over the border. These big trucks loaded with drugs are getting through.

And that's even while North Korea has made threats to attack us. It would be very easy for them to do so if they meant to.

We all knew we had a problem with illegals coming in before 9/11. Most of us didnt like it and after 9/11 we figured that now our government for the sake of national security is going to have to secure our borders,,It hasn't happened...There has been talk and some smoke and mirrors etc but the bottom line is just hasn't happened....When we get attacked again the fools ignoring it now will be the first to say "how did this happen? "We need to secure our borders"This is one reason so many people hate Bush. He talked us into spending zillions on a war, got thousands of us killed and THE FRIKKIN BORDERS REMAINED AS THEY ARE STILL TODAY................NOT SECURE...We are letting others steal our country from us. China and Mexico both are guilty.
