Every illegal immigrant who rescues a boy in the desert should be IMMEDIATELY made a US Citizen, with no waiting period or other requirements.....However, it's unlikely that this will ever become a regular occurrence.

The illegal alien should still be deported. All illegal aliens that break our border laws should be prosecuted and jailed. This guy did help the 9 year old child, so whatever jail sentence he gets should be suspended.

If I were the family of the boy, I would support his being deported but offer assistance in helping him reutrn legally. It could've turned out pretty worse if the boy had been found by drug smugglers or coyotes.

I agree. The family should offer any financial assistance needed to gain legal citizenship, if it were my son, I surely would.

I agree as well.

Even if it means deporting the person in question back to Mexico or wherever he came from; I would make damn sure that he was taken care of i.e. a vehicle, medical care, whatever.
