I get what you are saying, but you messed up when you used the word "fair". There is no such thing as being fair in a fight or in war. JS.

Yeah, no...except this alarm doesn't kill thousands and causes a war between two countries.

Thousands? I'm not an advocate for violence unless necessary but the military on the border giving fair warning to trespassers first would only result in casualties for dummies that don't heed warnings.

Mexico won't do a thing against the US since Mexico treats illegal aliens from Guatemala like dirt. Guatemala hasn't declared war on Mexico.

This has NOTHING to do with illegal immigration, it was about military members running into each other. Your comment is off topic.

Keep tuned, in a few days I am going to post a topic (in P&OC) that is similar to this thread in so many ways, but happened some time ago...

We in our history with Mexico has been a bumpy road. The ideal of troops is the way to go. You may have forgotten your Civil Disturbance Training , but to have a security presents will detour many of the issue and save lives.

First hands experience as a Guardsmen's it works and the object is to discourage detouring wrong doers and interloper alike. We do not even have to arrest, engage or bump heads with the Mexican Army. (which would mot be the first time)
We sent troops down under Gen Blackjack Pershing and a young Lt. Patton. To have secure boarders you must practice secure boarders!

Nope your post just popped up and deserved a rebuttal. its not you and thank you for your service. The bigger issue is there are those who want open boarders in the America. There are those in Mexico whom who would like to be a US Territory, like PR. never happen, but its out there.

The United States to be and to hold our right as a country, we must prospect our boarders. Just because Europe has done does not mean we have to. The USA is a Great Place and I have traveled to see the other side.

Mexico has it's military on the border. It's foolish that we send a few essentially unarmed border agents out there.

Funny how some of the open borders crowd don't have any problem with Mexico's military on the border, but they dont' want the USA's military on it.

Well -- they're okay with the big federal money and jobs for the border residents that having Fort Bliss on the border brings to it. Fort Bliss was originally located on the border because of problems with Mexico.
