A Lugoff roofer who gained national attention for getting arrested while protesting illegal immigration was found not guilty of disorderly-conduct charges Wednesday in Columbia Municipal Court.
Terry Funderburk, 52, who calls himself The Lone Protester and was featured on a national TV news program, was arrested July 16 in an affluent Columbia subdivision after police said he caused a disturbance while protesting workers installing copper roofing on a home.

I doubt he would, but...can he now turn around and sue someone for violating his civil rights, Re: freedom of speech and IMO false imprisonment.
Arrested for calling someone a name in a public protest. I here words much worse than that everyday I go out in public, and haven't seen anyone arrested for what they say yet.
I guess they couldn't think of any other way of saying it - what's the difference between "protesting" and "disorderly conduct"? I've protested in my life, and was not arrested.
So, they used "disorderly conduct", because protesting is legal.
This is why PL, pretty obvious to me that Hispanic = Illegal.
Did anyone find out if they were illegal?
Sounds like the guy will protest any Hispanics.
Since he lost his business, apparently, because of illegals taking jobs with other companies, and he couldn't compete by hiring American citizens, he probably pretty much knew what these companies were up to, and knew what the workers were being paid.
