it has received the attention it needs to get. The american people obviously don't buy into the invasion nonsense and put it well below the economy, iraq, health care, and a host of other issues.
I think it is a cause of 2 of the 3 problems you mentioned and should be listed a bit higher than it has.
I am guessing you mean the economy and health care?
So by saying it is the "cause", that means if there were no illegals we would not be experiencing those 2 issues right now?
You don't think Iraq and subprimes have anything to do with economy?
You don't think malpractice law suits, insurance costs and poor escalating medicine prices have anything to do with health care?
Someone has been listening to Glenn Beck too much.
The three candidates do not have the balls to talk about it. They're pandering to the hispanics. All of them.
No matter who gets elected, I doubt that the President will pay any attention to what the American people want, as usual. That's why we're fighting it locally, because no way will the feds do anything about it - now, or in the future.
It is an important issue, and it goes along with other issues, particularly the economy (depression of our wages, loss of jobs for our lower-income people, taxpayer benefits given to non-taxpayers). To the PEOPLE, it's important - to our federal government, it isn't, so of course, they aren't going to talk about it.

It's up to the cities, counties, and states now.
Thats hitting the nail on the head, we talk about health care while the urgent care centers are packed with illegals getting free medical care, I don't get free medical but my taxes pay for them. The three canidates won't speek out because they are part of the problem.
The mainstream media (corporate elite) would have us believe illegal immigration is a 'non-issue' due to their own open borders agenda. Expecting to hear the truth from them vis-a-vis illegal immigration, would be tantamount to expecting a dope dealer to condemn illicit drugs.
If illegal immigration were not a serious issue, we would not have the vast majority of states enacting new laws to combat it.
I agree. All of the candidates are pandering, and none will touch the issue.

I have noticed that you dont like to blame illegals for anything. Very interesting.
I voted no because NONE of the 3 major candidates has spoken
a word on the subject in the last 3 months.
How does ANY candidate blatantly ignore the fact that 10-15% of our nation's population HAS NO RIGHT TO BE HERE???
