A 51-year-old man suspected of fatally shooting a Houston police officer and wounding another is a migrant from El Salvador who is in the United States illegally, according to federal authorities.
Authorities said Elmer Manzano, 51, shot Sgt Harold Preston and Officer Courtney Waller at the Richmond Manor apartments in the 2600 block of Holly Hall while they were responding to a domestic violence incident at the complex.
Heart goes out to those officers and their families.

Is it? Diversity in and of itself is fine. A forced diversity to just say you are diverse is a disaster. That's why so many Affirmative action recipients struggle. They weren't qualified and never stood a chance to make the grade. Thats why being selective isn't a bad thing. Illegals? Illegals are never a good thing, can never be a good thing, and only the willfully blind choose to ignore the many crimes committed by illegals. There is no silver lining in regard to illegals.
In this case we have to cops shot, one killed. This isn't a 1 in a million event, it is fairly common. Citizens being victimized by illegals is a norm.
