I'm sorry, butyour argument that being and working in a country illegally while using stolen ssns (or being paid under the table) has the same moral relativism as jaywalking. If you doubt me, you should try it in anywhere within the EU or hey! How about Mexico? I understand they don't care for illegal immigrants without money there......

How could they care for illegal immigrants without money there? They can't wait for their OWN citizens without money to LEAVE there.

As a citizen you try to do the best you can. If you are not a citizen and sneaked in illegally you are breaking laws for every second you are here...

When you are trying to do the best you can, and you see others not only break the immigration laws but then start breaking other laws it is very galling. I don't think illegals would have that many people against them if they respected this country and its laws even if they got their start here as a criminal.

few of us are totally innocent. we decide which laws we wish to obey, and take our chances with the rest
If this is a joke, it's a pretty vague one. If it's a serious attempt to present a case for justifying illegal immigration, it's absurd. Because one time six weeks ago, I failed to come to a complete stop, I should accept 20 million illegal people residing in my country?

I suppose you also support the Ku Klux Klan...after all, MANY of them are just 'in it' for the meetings and the comraderie.....and MOST of them really don't LYNCH anyone..right? I mean, isn't the Ku Klux Klan an awful lot like the Rotary Club? Aren't MOST of them just trying to express their views, just like you and I are doing? Who are WE to question their motives?

Brilliant thread.

The difference is if I am caught running a redlight I get waht the law prescribes;a ticket. If I am a illeagl then I would be deported by law and if found with false documants or obs=tained under fraud;I would be tried and jailed. There is a law on the books covering very one who did not get amnesty the last time;I say enforce it.If they havce committed any other laws like fraud then keep them on a list and deny them ever getting a visa.

do you EVER speed? I have in the past, but use cruise control now.
litter Never, I carry a bag in my car for trash and dump it in a trash can
use profanity in front of children? I have, not proud of it.
let your kids drink? No
not come to a complete stop? sometimes a rolling stop
cut tags of pillows? I have
do drugs? abuse prescription ones? No
drink and drive? Never, but I hardly ever drink either.
I doubt if anyone is completely innocent.

If I'm caught breaking the "law" by the "authorities", I am subject to penalties. Just like anyone else without the money to protect themselves from the law.

DON'T "quote" me with words I never used -- completely wrong!

I NEVER supported illegals, I said turn them IN! NEVER said anything about stolen ssns . . . .

Get it straight, I merely pointed out that every one of you violates the law in one way or another.

Simple, get it?
