At least 23 undocumented migrants were taken into custody after U.S. Border Patrol agents disrupted a smuggling operation in New Mexico.

The agents, who were assigned to the El Paso Sector's Las Cruces Border Patrol station, spotted a white van with daycare center logos and pulled it over for a routine inspection at a checkpoint on Interstate 10 on Wednesday night.

A search of the vehicle led the officers to 23 Guatemalan individuals, who had previously illegally crossed the Mexico-United States border.

I believe it is a felony when they are caught re-entering illegally after having been deported, not that it matters with our current "administration".
