I believe if all the people in the country--some educated, some ignorant--who were offering their opinions on this issue actually did some research into the subject, they might not have so xenophobic of an outlook. I did. See Mexican Illegal Immigrants - The Rest Of The Story - Home. (www.mexicoandamerica.com)

Mexico and the USA were founded the same way---------by force of arms.

BTW: Mexico was not been truly independent till 1867--------when the French left. The Mexican American War was a generation earlier (1848).

But the French didn't even get there until 1862. And what's the point of the "force of arms" statement? That hostile aggression is acceptable? If so, let's go for the rest of South America!

And unlike the U.S, the indigenous peoples assimilated. Mexico has even had an indigenous president.
