Isn't that the truth! Obviously, they have learned nothing from their sanctuary policy, and the recent murders perpetrated by an illegal alien who should have previously been deported.
These people are not here legally, and issuing IDs tends to lend legitimacy to their presence.
This is what I've always felt. If they want citizenship, then they should be given every opportunity to obtain it. The other option should certainly not be legitimizing their status as illegals.
