Smart move. Since this is the state of IL we are talking about, there was probably a hidden camera over the plate that would record exactly how many cookies or celery sticks that you ate and you would find the cost of those items added to your state tax bill.

No kidding.

I figured if I stuck to coffee and water (which was brought in by his assistant after I got there), I'd be relatively safe in pinpointing the cause of illness should it have occurred. On the other hand, both he and the donuts were already sitting in the room when I arrived.
