Investigators say they raided a home in southwest Bakersfield and busted a counterfeit document operation. One man faces felony charges but investigators also arrested three other people for being in the country illegally.
Agents say they are seeing a growing number of these cases in Kern County. More people producing and selling fake IDs, Social Security cards, and green cards.
''This subject was selling fraudulent immigration, fake Social Security cards, driver licenses, Mexican identification,” agent Bernardo Madrid said.
Agents say they seized everything needed to run a counterfeit operation from phony government seals to printers and computers. ICE agents say they arrested 37-year-old Ramiro Briseno-Lopez and he faces federal felony charges.
