I don't see how this law is "racist". The article said that the ordinance required landlords to verify citizenship or legal status of ALL tenants.
Haven't you heard? Each and every day law makers all over the US wake up asking themselves what laws they should enact today in order to prove that we are racist against the illegal alien ethnocentric racists today?
They will with it's racist Mayor. Its going to cost the city millions of dollars in lawsuit. The people are going to have pay it with higher taxes because of the mayor.
You keep spouting the racist Mayor...
This ordinance was voted on and passed by the citizens of Farmer Branch.
I don't see anyone in this thread having a problem with Hispanics. You, however, keep interchanging the two groups as if you think of them as one and the same.
You might want to rethink that so that can stop (intentionally) misreading people.
And; certain enclaves are not safe for light skinned White people either-------------the difference being that 'sundown' towns cannot legally enforce such nonsense pertaining to 'people of color'.
Hell: the former judge Leander H. Perez of St Bernard Parish, Louisiana was a vicious White supremacist along the lines of Bull Connor 45 years ago---------and, Perez was a (White) Hispanic. So that claptrap about Latinos being hassled obviously applied to Mestizo ones--------not those of Spanish heritage.
Their racist mayor cost this city so much money and he is going to have to come with more money because they are more lawsuit that will need to paid by the city. When you pass a law that only ask Hispanic for papers to rent apartment you really have to be stupid. They think the goverment would just sit back and do nothing?
I'm not surprised that the racist organization Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) was involved in this lawsuit against the city of Farmers Branch.

Links? Do the pro-illegal immigration folks provide links when they label people, or an organization, as racist? Of course they don't. Why should I be held to a higher standard of proof?
