We are fed the lie that violent illegals are being arrested “in record numbers.” They fail to mention that after their arrests, they are being freed at the border to avail themselves of our revolving door. This is unconscionable.

A BIG improvement over what has taken place in the LA area in recent years...in which many 'accused' felons have been neither prosecuted NOR deported (courtesy of Special Order 40). I guess 'one' is better than 'neither'....(though BOTH would be preferable...prosecute, THEN deport).
At least, when they're deported, we get a week or two 'time out' before they return...
it helps witnesses and victims. not the perps. and it does not stop felons from being deported or prosecuted.

Special Order 40 does not specifically 'shelter' felons...of course not. But it does 'tie the hands' of law enforcement in many ways, and add a layer or two of 'protection' to illegal immigrants not enjoyed by US citizens. In that sense, it does shelter criminals. Criminals who are illegals are able to take advantage of Special Order 40, which was designed to shelter 'peaceful' illegals from being 'hassled' by police. Special Order 40 shelters violent criminals in the sense that it sometimes stops law enforcement from pursuing these cases at their initial stage....and the case dies before it begins.
