RALEIGH — North Carolina's community college system voted today to admit illegal immigrants at its campuses next year, a move unlikely to bring an immediate surge in undocumented students given a requirement that they pay higher tuition.

The State Board of Community Colleges approved the rules, which according to proponents will provide clarity after four previous policy changes on the topic since 2000.

Actually a good thing since it could increase educational attainment within this community...

I actually was going to debate this but it's not worth it.

I have no problem with it, if they have school visas, like they are required to have by law.
Can't see a community college turning down profit, for a thing like illegal aliens. They feel they need to jump on the bandwagon, and get their piece of the pie, too.

Yeah, but you keep using common sense. That's a no no when it comes to undocumented guys getting education.

District? This ain't public school where profits would go to public education as a whole. There is nothing public about community college! It sure ain't a non-profit organization. If the SC community colleges are like here, Capitalism at its finest. The only thing it is better for, is to increase profit for the community college.

Seriously... Better for the district. That was funny to see just how clueless, the clueless are.

Look, you have a follower, that is just as clueless... Better for the district, Hahahahaha!

Think again! There is no common sense in a fabrication to spin something.
"Better for the district," to tug at your bleeding heart, is a fabrication.
Their is no "district" for a community college, Einstein.

It does not justify the criminal act of, being here illegally and undocumented.

Go get an education in your homeland! Or get a visa to attend school here legally and documented you in our country, so we know who you are and where you came from.
