This is total BS.

A proposal to require proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in Tennessee has been changed to instead require prospective voters to check a box to affirm they are citizens.

But under changes adopted in the House elections subcommittee on Tuesday, applicants would only be required to check a box to say they are legally in the United States.

And I am sure it will be paid!

This is absolutely hysterical and if passed will certainly make me go hmmmm regarding the intelligence of those running this country, moreso than now. Wonder how many eyes will roll at the tables reviewing this.

I don't see a problem with it. Surely no one would lie about the legality of their presence in this country.

By the time any false information is found, the election would be over with. If the wrong doers voted for the one that won the election....then what?.

I do know that in the last couple of years we've had many move here. So I think that's why they are trying to get this thru. It's all politics and it makes me sick.

I am so happy to hear you did this. I am still amazed at how many people are unaware, still thinking "politics as usual" with no real interest because they simply do not know . We are being raped so brutally and it is time we face our attacker and say "no more".

There are many that feel as we do. And it's time we start voting these politicians out! And the more we can get the word out, the better. They are sucking our country dry. They need to go back home and fix their own instead of coming to ours and making our country like the one they left.

Tennessee is a beautiful state, we have friends who purchased land there and settled years ago, very happy. My daughter has suggested she will leave Texas due to this horrible invasion and settle there as well now that she has begun to have children. I would hate to see TN turn into the cesspool CA and TX have become. Fight for your land, I am fighting for mine in the Northern region.
