MontCo welcomes illegals, as neighbors crack down | Washington Examiner (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/local/MontCo-welcomes-illegals_-as-neighbors-crack-down-89737737.html - broken link)

Sorry Benicar This has to be a collective endeavor

Quote:
McDonough said Montgomery's policies have made the county a safe haven for gangs, making it more difficult in his district, Baltimore County, to fight gang violence.
"The gateway into this state creating problems with illegals is Montgomery," said McDonough, a Republican. "[Montgomery's] open-door policy has caused a lot of violence in the state."
Quote:
"Clearly what happened in Prince William County is that a lot of the illegal immigrants are leaving and going to Montgomery," he said, citing the increase in Montgomery's gang-related crimes over the past several years. Meanwhile, Prince William's crime rate has dropped 38 percent.
The proof is in the pudding...

That does not surprise me at all. I lived in Silver Spring in the 1960's maybe 1 mile from Takoma Park---------and, the latter place was a haven for leftys/libs back then. Just that I was in elementary school and did not know the difference.

They just want a better life for their families...pick our corn. The first thing that comes to my mind for Mont. County , MD. is certainly large farms...

It being a neighboring county to Washington, D.C. Nice little area for terrorists to be "sanctified"...

Ike Leggett is a pandering idiot. He will change his tune once the good citizens of Montgomery County give him the boot. Takoma Park is now a crime-infested barrio.

As a native of Maryland, which once had it's diversity of charm, I see many long time residents fleeing. Sad, as Maryland has always held a nice niche for higher education, commute to D.C.'s technology employment, medical care being top notch and medical breakthroughs, etc. Now it is quickly turning into a cesspool of crime and invasion of illegals destroying it's structure and high quality of living standards.

That’s precisely why so many Marylanders are fighting this invasion tooth and nail. They can’t have our state; not without a mammoth fight.

I agree and have noticed it's younger population not taking it anymore! There is power in numbers for sure and one thing illegals may want to think about. Baltimore is no place to pi$$ someone off!

She added she was worried about creating a state of fear so illegals wouldn't report crimes. "Illegal immigrants aren't just criminals, they can also be victims."
A Child Molester or Presidential Assasin can be a victim too.
