Aren't most hispanics very conservative, at least socially (born, immigrants, Mexicans)

Cubans tend to be majority republicans who hate castro and cuba. Mexicans tend to be anti abortion, anti gay, religious, pro christian, and pro family values. They share many of the values christian fundamentalists. Historically speaking the leaders in latin america tend to be way more to the right than their american counterparts. Pinochet, Batista, Somoza, Mont, all these guys knew how to deal with leftists. They are so far to the right that they would round up the communists by the thousands and stick them in stadiums or ditches. I doubt any american president would ever do this. These guys don't mess around.

From my experience, first generation immigrants, yes. Second generation, no. Quite the opposite. The young American-born Hispanics I work with are no different than other young people. They like hip-hop, partying and getting laid.

All of those mentioned were backed by the American government. Those men murdered their own civilians who wanted freedom by the tens of thousands, at the orders of, by the training of, and with the bullets of the American government.

The civil wars of Latin America were some of the most famous proxy wars of the cold war, so American Presidents and the CIA DID do this, but trying to downplay their involvement as much as possible.
