Plano-based Frito Lay urged to boycott Arizona | PLANO Blog | dallasnews.com

A national spokesman for LULAC [League of United Latin American Citizens], one of the nation's largest Latino activist groups, said LULAC is not calling for a boycott, though some local members might embrace such a move. He said he is making plans to meet with executives from a variety of companies to talk about their sponsorships.

"Let me be clear: There is no LULAC boycott of Frito-Lay or any other company," said Brent Wilkes, executive director of the Washington-based group, which has its strongest presence in Texas.

Unite Arizona - A Project of LULAC

JOIN THE BOYCOTT
I firmly oppose the unconstitutional Arizona anti-immigrant law (SB1070) that will result in widespread racial profiling of Latinos in the state if allowed to take effect. I pledge to take the following actions until the law is repealed or struck down by the courts:
I will boycott any corporation that continues to support the campaigns of the Arizona lawmakers responsible for this bill.
I will avoid visiting Arizona or spending money there.
I will urge organizations and corporations to pull their events out of Arizona including the 2011 MLB All-star Game.

This is getting ridiculous. So everyone boycott everything from Arizona so companies can go out business and more people will be unemployed.

That will make Arizona get rid of the law. Yeah right.

Arizona is only marginally Republican - it's bounced between Democrat and Republican governors - and only went Republican in 2008 because of McCain (54% vs 45%). Demographic trends will swing it solidly Democrat within a few years.

As I said before - soon you will see EVERYTHING Arizona boycotted. Step foot in Arizona for a day - you will be boycotted. Drink New York based Arizona Ice Tea? You will be boycotted. Enjoy cacti? You will be boycotted.

A boycott will drive Illegals out faster than the law as businesses will be canning the illegal workers.

Texas Frito Pie

1 pkt (medium) Frito corn chips, set aside 1 c. for topping
1 can Chili or make your own special recipe - East Dallas-raised Carroll Shelby has a good indgredient package
1 lrg Onion minced
Jalapeno slices
1 lb Grated cheddar cheese, set aside 1/2 c. for topping

Directions
In medium size casserole dish, layer in this order: Fritos, chili, onion, and cheese. Continue layering till all ingredients are used. Place in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 min. During the last 5 min of the cooking time, cover top with the extra Fritos and cheese and jalapenos which were set aside!
