Our own Attorney General came out against the law but admitted he never read the law. So it's no suprise that many who came out against it have no idea what it says.

If the law is constitutional why is there a boycott? I understand a slight adjustment was made but not enough to satisfy those opposed. In America, we don't normally make minority ethnics "second-class" citizens. Cardinal Mahony called it "Nazi-like and Communistic." Churches in Arizona have also voiced opposition to the law. This is a moral issue of equal treatment for all Americans. Haven't you stopped to think that they may have a point?

If Arizona had decided to put the national guard on the border that would have been a better gesture. Nobody is faulting Arizona for trying to solve the problem of illegal immigration but it is how Arizona is going about it that raises concern.

The whole idea of a boycott is to pressure Arizona in undoing the law or at least put it on hold. Until then, Arizona will suffer the consequences.
Being that SB1070 is a copy/paste of existing Federal law: the illegal alien apologists need to take it up with Wash DC------------NOT Arizona.

Do you have any idea what the Latino population is in Arizona?

Persons of Hispanic or Latino origin, percent, 2008 30.1%
White persons not Hispanic, percent, 2008 58.4%
Arizona QuickFacts from the US Census Bureau

It helps if you do a little homework. So since 30% of Arizona citizens are Latino it's OK to card them? Do you really live in Arizona?

Where in the law does it say that Latinos exclusively will be carded?

BBC News - Los Angeles to boycott Arizona over immigration law

LA is falling apart at the seams and this is what the city council is wasting their time on? I wonder how much money illegal immigrants are costing the taxpayers of LA each and every year.
Playing politics with other people's money, isn't this what we would expect from a bunch of liberals. since when did people vote for city workers to play out their political ideology as a weapon to harm the commerce of another state?

I believe that LA is number one city for losing the most jobs, and they decide to play politics???

Six of the Golden State's metropolitan areas were in the top 10 nationwide, and the Los Angeles-Long Beach area ranked No. 1 with 15,005 workers axed in mass firings in the quarter, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, which reports instances of employers who let go more than 50 workers in a quarter.

Did you read that New York City was #2 and Chicago #3 [the 3 largest cities in America] that logically would have the highest numbers. Arizona's unemployment is 9.4% [much higher than many other states]. I read that the Phoenix parks department will keep the swimming pools closed this summer
