Sure, that's why Phoenix is the second highest for kidnappings in the WORLD. Maybe it's down according to mexicos standards but far more than what Americans want.

"The number of illegal immigrants apprehended along the border, which CBP uses to gauge the flow of migrants, is down nearly 55 percent from 2005. The agency captured 540,865 last year." Ok, well that could easily explain the drop in crime. This article is not mentioning the cost associated with Illegal Immigration, it only focuses on crime rates to make Brewer look like a liar and SB 1070 some kind of "Hate" bill.

You guys try to factor in too much. We must subtract more not add.
For example. We can't count any crimes like tax fraud, ID theft, driving without a license or immigration crimes.
Those crimes wouldn't have happened if we had simply said yes to anyone and everyone who wanted to enter into the USA. We forced them to break these laws, we gave them no choice in the matter. WE can't count these crimes and to be fair we shouldn't count those people either. Migration shouldn't be a crime .
Now Illegals caught smuggling drugs. Once again this should not be counted. America's demand for drugs is our own fault and we shouldn't blame anyone from Mexico who tries to make an honest living satisfying our demand.
So once you use the correct formula for factoring in crimes it becomes obvious that there 0 crimes committed by illegals errr uhmmm undocumented prefered citizens of the USA.

Most know it's pushed violent crime out into rural areas like where that Citizen was shot. Overall the crime is a lot worse even if it's not inside the City boundaries.

"The more pressure is applied in urban areas, the further out the migrants and smugglers are going to go, and the more competitive, more violent it's going to get," said Sheriff Tony Estrada of Santa Cruz County, Arizona. "

It also shows that enforcement only does work.

"Meanwhile, Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained and deported a record 387,790 unauthorized immigrants across the U.S. in 2009, and is on pace to set a new record in 2010. "

LMAO! are you serious?? they are here ILLEGALLY in the first place! do you have ANY idea the economic catastrophe we would face if we opened our borders for anyone who wants in?? imagine the HUGE influxes of third world people with NO education and nothing to offer but to perform low skilled labor or use our social safety nets. We already have too many uneducated, low skilled workers in America, not just Illegal Immigrants but Americans themselves. So it's Americans fault people cross here Illegally, that is the most preposterous statement I have ever seen. And just so you know Mexico was bad off BEFORE the "war on drugs" and always will be, while corruption rules that country. Lol.. here is your logical thinking : I carry a handgun without a permit because the county will not allow citizens to carry unless they work in certain capacities. walking around the gun goes off by accident and someone gets hit by the bullet. It's the counties fault for not allowing me to carry a concealed weapon, had I been allowed to I WOULD have had to take safety courses and gotten certified. So because I was denied the right to carry that weapon legally, and did not obtain the proper training because only the select few are allowed, it's the counties fault.. and just so you know the Federal Government DOES issue TIN's for illegal immigrants to pay taxes, so there is no excuse for tax fraud. And ID theft.. LOL I hope someone uses your SSN and collects disability for a fake back injury at work, then when you need it tell me you cannot count identity theft. Oh yeah- migration is NOT a crime, coming into America without a visa or through proper channels IS a Federal crime, one that badly needs enforced. There is such a thing as visa's, those are given to people when we have a demand.. right now there is very little demand for low skilled workers so there is not many being given (not to mention the backlog Illegal Immigrants have made in the immigration courts trying to fight deportation or become citizens).
