The Catholic church is worried about creating jobs in other countries. In case they've forgotten, RCA packed up and shipped its factory to Mexico. Greta Van Susteren just reported on a factory in Wisconsin that is moving to Mexico. Yet, the illegals keep coming and taking our jobs.

Maybe they should start caring about the 15 million Americans who are unable to find work, many have families and can't feed them.

What about the other ranchers along the border who are fearing for their lives? What about the millions of Americans who have had their lives messed up because some illegal stole his or her identity in the name of getting a job? The church should start caring about them.

The position of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops on illegal immigration looks like the position of the Democratic Party on illegal immigration.

The good news is that Catholics are not bound by the political views of their Bishops, although they should consider them. The problem is that the Bishops have not clearly explained this to their flock, but instead are acting like their proposal for Comprehensive Immigration Reform is some kind of moral imperative, which it is definitely not. There has been a lively debate on this issue at Catholic Answers Forums.

Maybe because the majority of the 15 million aren't Catholic but most Hispanics are and are usually more devout in their faith. Fills up the churches.
