Anyone have any favorite Upick places anywhere in the state? We want to pick around 200 lbs of blueberries so the place would need to be fairly big.

Any other berry farms to recommend?

We are getting a new freezer and want to fill it with great upick stuff this summer.

We used to pick 120 pounds a year and gave quarts away as gifts. We are thinking it will be 200 pounds over two days this year. Sure a lot cheaper than the stores.

You would not believe but strawberries at the Original Pancake House are "Market Price". And we thought that was mostly on Lobster.

I would imagine the domestic strawberry crop this past season was pretty bad with the early freeze and dry dry dry summer. I used to pick wild strawberries near the railroad tracks that ran not far from my house. I'd eat myself silly and have a gutache for hours afterwards, the good old days!!! I don't know what it is, but wild strawberries have a certain flavor that only wild strawberries have ...

I'm remeniscing now.
