Default So. Indiana weather event 1900-1910

I have been trying to solve a puzzle in my family tree which my grandmother lived in French Lick in 1900 with brothers, sisters, and her mom and dad. But in 1910, her mom and dad were not there along with a brother and two sisters. her other brother was listed as head of household. I have been thinking that maybe a tornado or other major weather related incident took place that could account for so many people gone.

Does anyone know of a major weather related incident occuring between 1900 thru 1910.

Would like to find out.

Thanks

It could've been a devestating illness too. I've found that in my family tree.

Have you checked with the local library, or searched thru the newspapers online? Let me know if you need any help.

I could you some help to point me in the right direction. I live in California, and I don't know that much about the newspapers there.

I know that in 1900 they lived in French Lick Indiana, and in 1910 they moved to Stueben, Warren, Indiana.

I believe it had tohappen after 1901, because another son was born that year.

If you can provide me the information, much appreciate it.
