My strongest sympathy to the honorable citizens of Indianapolis during this tragedy. Especially to the families of the victims. God Bless the great city of Indianapolis and the rest of the USA. the Show must go on and we will recover!

A terrible tragedy. While I had no plans to attend the show, me and my family were at the fair today and made it out before the storm hit. This will force a discussion over safety efforts when weather conditions deteriote at these shows as well as the construction standards for these stages.

I was there and had seats next to the stage. when we saw the dust storm coming, we left. About 20-30 from our seats we witnessed the stage collapse. It was so tragic, and so sad.

I felt a cold gust of wind, it felt like the temperature dropped 20 degrees.

Chicago Tribune had pictures showing the supports breaking. It looked like they just cracked.

Local news reporting five confirmed dead now. One was a lighting worker that was apparently on the scaffolding when it fell.

I was in Lawrence when it happened and just looking at the clouds gave you an eerie feeling. One side it was still some light and underneath the cloud was just pitch black. Once the cloud hit, you were nailed with a massive wind gust. I can imagine being at the fair with that gust and the wind tunnels that were created due to the configuration of the fairgrounds for the fair.
