I remember years ago a chain of liquor stores called "500 Liquors". My recollection is that they were mostly in the inner-city, many were in rough neighborhoods. I never see these anymore, so I'm assuming that they either sold out to one of the other chains or simply sold the licenses. Does anyone know when they went out and what the story is there?
