Can anyone help me find a reputable source for granite for my kitchen countertops that is not too expensive? Of course, I know granite and the labor to install it are fairly pricey but I see online ads for companies that want to install granite in the entire kitchen for $1,799 and am not sure that they would do a good job. Can I buy from a "granite wholesaler" if there is such a thing in Indy?

Thanks for your advice!

If you are willing to travel a bit, you might check out a place in Spencer called Quality Surfaces Inc. They do the fabrication onsite so eliminate the middle man and the markup a bit. Several of my friends have used them and recommended them to me. (unfortunately I had to buy a new car instead of new counters). Here is the website: QSI

They have a facebook page with some pictures.

Default Thank you!

I appreciate the feedback from both of you. There is also a new place I found out about called Surface Encounters in Noblesville. They do all of the cutting by laser at their headquarters in Michigan and then send the material to the local store. Their prices sound!
