When I go to Google today, the Google logo and search bar load first and after a few seconds, the rest of the page sort of fades into view.

Is anyone else seeing this? I thought my network connection was slow at first but it is only happening on Google.

When I first saw it, I just assumed it was loading slowly. Our network is often slow at my work.

Some days it fades in, some days it doesn't.

But every day that it does this pisses me off to no end.

They have made billions by embracing simplicity in regard to UI. They should keep it that way.
