You probably can not get a virus going to the website unless it asks you to download some type of software. However you probably can get some type of spyware without doing anything. Im not clicking on it to find out.
Of course we go to new sites. Just making a subtle point. If you have your protection set up well enough, go, be aware, and have fun. If you don't have confidence in your protection and awareness, then don't go visiting strange sites. Consider, people who have the expertise to know the site might carry a virus are also going to be protected from it, and thus won't get the virus. How then would we know if the site delivers a virus?
