S&P opened at 2,268.90 and closed at 2,268.90. I wonder how many times this has happened.

the s&p 500 was unchanged but my small cap value fund was up nicely today .the last 2 months since i bought it SLYV has been on fire . it finished in 2016 up 32%. . but when it dips ,boy it can be nasty on a daily basis . .

Small cap and biotech and maybe tech. I bought those managed funds for a reason. They have biotech and high tech.

the s&p 600 which is the index SLYV and IJS track has been insane . based on the amount of money i have in it i was up in 2 months almost 40k. friday and mondays saw it fall 10k and then back up 5K yesterday .

the nice thing is in the model i use both GOLD and LONG TERM TREASURY'S and they have been going up too so the days i see the swings in slyv i get an opposite swing in one of those 2 so volatility over all has been low .

broke a new all time high yesterday for our investments , mostly because of the action in gold AND TLT not stocks the last few weeks ,

So if I'm following you, you have half your money deployed in a Fidelity Insight model and half in this model from the portfolio pages you linked in another post?

at this point 1/3 insight / 2/3/sthe other model i am trying . i migrated more over the last few weeks . so much uncertainty that i prefer to profit up or down and not just bet on prosperity at this late stage . eventually i may migrate it all over except for my fun speculation money which i play with . not bad last year with that at over a 30% return . to bad it is so little i play with .
