Markets were waaaay up (around 180+)....then boom.....closed at -41

Didn't notice any significant news.....any thoughts or ideas?

fed minutes . fed said they felt stocks were getting high and they are going to start cutting back the bond sales tapering the deficit - read as less spending !

Yea, I was wondering about that too... Looked like it was going to be a great day... I went out for a walk, came home and everything was down.

it was a crazy day . i had decided today i would buy the dow puppies at the open . (the 5 highest yielding dow dog stocks ) .

within a few hours i sold them as we were up almost 200 points . i went out , came home and saw them near the close below where i bought them in the morning . so i bought all 5 over again all in one day .

Maybe you've lost your sense of wonder....but some of us still 'think' and wonder about things.....like reasons as to why there's a 220 point swing.....

some of us learn that it's pointless to worry about stocks on a day to day thing when there are better things to do with life
