i prefer my overseas investing with fidelity rather than vanguard . i would likely keep wellesley for what it is and do my international investing elsewhere
Thoughts on Vanguard's new Global Wellington and Global Wellesley funds?
Well, they have no track record, but I think they will be good funds. There are few global balanced funds to choose from--and even fewer that are anywhere near as cheap as those two.
They will probably be more volatile than their domestic siblings--and the U.S., has historically been one of the better performing stock markets. We don't know if that will be true in the future. On the other hand, these funds can choose the best companies from around the globe, so they are a great way to get exposure to almost everything at very low expense ratios.
i did . but that does not mean some of their funds are not worth owning . i have my own issues with their policies and customer service being lousy so i won't do business with them .
by the way funny how they pushed those joint accounts in to needing trusts and now they are promoting their trust services heavy .

Fidelity does have some pretty low expense ratio's for active managed funds. It is funny how many options these fund companies are offering all in efforts to attract more AUM & grow share. I can see where the avg. investor would be confused or have questions on what to invest in but I still stand that creating a solid properly asset allocated portfolio does not need to be complicated and simplicity produces respectable returns. Having a portfolio asset allocation consisting of index funds takes a lot of the guess work out of it.
