“ But today, what's most needed is for the president to sign this bill into law and get a large quantity of relief into the hands of people and organizations that desperately need it. And that would be obvious to more people if there hadn't been so much lying about what's in the bill.”

Yes, agreed. it very well could make the GOP look bad to vote it down. The majority of the county wants fairly large stimulus payments distributed.

I loved it where Pelosi so enthusiastically agreed with Trump on the 2k payment. They know Trump is lying and will not honor the 2k payments. Expect a 360 reversal very soon by Trump. Some crafty reason why there is some additional expectation(s)which must be met, suddenly, in order for him to sign it

Yes I remember in the beginning when they said masks weren't needed. All because there weren't enough even for the healthcare workers. We had volunteers in our area who knew how to sew so were making and donating masks

The part of the bill where they’re letting business write off the expenses related to the forgivable loans (free money) I find rather disgusting.

The $600... they can do better.

Just another stimulus the big dogs will profit from. In theory this is all to largely support small business but as we saw with the last one there is a disconnect there with reality.

Well, they’re about to make it crystal clear (if it wasn’t already) as to which party supports and which party does not support greater direct payments as part of covid relief measures.

Well there you have it...

"GOP BLOCKS HOUSE DEMOCRATS' ATTEMPT TO PASS $2,000 STIMULUS CHECKS AFTER TRUMP VOICES SUPPORT" -CNBC BREAKING ALERT

I hope this reverses the special elections in GA for a D win, so we can see infrastructure bills, stimulus bills, etc which will all be great for the stock market. As I've said before, the market needs its next fix for the next major leg up, which would come in the form of stimulus, infrastructure, incentives for green technology.

More "Team R" versus "Team D" political nonsense. Wrong boards for it.
