Like I said - amazing. Some would say amazingly stupid, but amazing nonetheless. I think what their doing to the shorts here is brilliant, but it's too scary to me to get involved in. I made a small bet on some other WSB darlings this morning - BB, BBBY and PLTR. We'll see lol.
I wouldn't touch AMC with a 10 foot pole. The company is close to bankruptcy and should be issuing shares left and right to raise cash - they'd be crazy not to. The threat of that is there with GME as well. Not going there.

I would guess it's hedge funds that have been heavily using reddit on both sides. They use media to plug the stock, pain the tape, and retail jumps on. There are some classic videos on youtube by hedge fund managers on how they manipulate stocks.
There's a chart of how much the most-shorted stocks are outperforming versus the market. A lot of them show up on the rocket ship picks.
There is going to be a lot of money made on some of these stocks like Gamestop but there sure are some people that are going to get burned badly. Like those who bought BBB at 45 + or GME at 150+. I don't mind taking a risk but those are too far out for even me
Gotcha, but I'm not a WSB guy. I'm just playing around with a few bucks to see if I can ride their coat tails for a bit. GME is just too hot for me right now, and AMC is total crap so I won't touch those. PLTR is a tech favorite, BB I don't really get what all the fuss is about, BBBY has a very high (70+%) short interest and the company is actually buying back shares, which adds to the WSB upward push, and RKT I actually like - great company. They're also talking a lot about NOK and ERIC as big 5G build out plays here in the US, which makes some sense since Huawei is out of the picture here. I'm not very convinced on those two though lol.
Down almost 55% from today’s intraday high. Some may be getting really smashed here
