If you submit picks now, where does your purchase price come from? Today? Or first of the year price?

I agree with the rules for 2022 including investing any time, though I plan to do so by the end of December.

My only suggestion is to limit rule #2 to 5 stocks period, to minimize gambling and to make it the same for everyone.

OK, I made a command decision...... (love military lingo) To solve the "Crypto problem" I will run two games. The normal stock game with rules as described earlier. (Which are essentially unchanged from the rules as they ended up this year.)

And I will run a Crypto competition. It will be for any Crypto investment you can think of. Coins, stocks, anything. As long as I can figure out how to count it. I think in general it will be easy. Crypto Stocks are the same as regular stocks, and I think I can figure out who to do coins. I think I even see some new Crypto formulas in Google Sheets.

Here's the link for the 2022 Crypto Game for 2022

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Again please let me know that it's working.

I plan to make a separate post about this, but I suspect it will be merged into the Crypto Mega Thread.

Curious as to what you guys think on these. Not my picks, but looking at them.

VALE - Not a smallcap, but iron ore futures were hammered with Chinaco shutting down this year. As with all commodities, the cure for low prices is low prices. Gotta capture the dividend with this one though.

USER - We'll see how this one prices out, but this stock has failed completely after leaving the gates, but it's a cool product.

ZIM - Looks almost too good to be true. Fast growing and profitable. Shipping industry. PE of 2. 20% Dividend....

ABEV - South America's been just killed by covid....if I were there I'd drink.
