Well, I seem to remember Trump bullying Powell into lowering rates even before the Covid shutdowns and stimulus checks, which he started btw. I happen to agree with you on our current President, but to blame him alone for this entire mess is intellectually lazy and wrong. Both parties are equally to blame for where we are now, so let’s just say that Washington DC has its collective heads you know where and call it a day.
