With all of the bail outs that have taken place, it's easy to forget the financial/illuminati engineering we've already at tax payer expense. And isn't a consumer bail out just a corporate subsidy anyway? Isn't socialism nothing more than a bunch of connected people stealing from the public treasury for the supposed benefit of "society"? This is what makes me such a free market guy. Who really wins by keeping prices artificially high?
of course it has to escalate. you bail out the homeowners who actually often had very little invested with their 0% down qualifying loans but really want to stay in homes they cannot afford instead of moving to homes that they can afford, then you have to bail out the mortgage companies like countrywide (thanks to chuck dodd), then you have to bail out the banks who borrowed the money to lend to the homeowner, then you have to bail out fannie mae and freddie mac, and then you have to bail out........ of course this is big because they are making it big!
yes, we are a nation run by clowns.
Yes. First we bailed out the greedy little idiots that thought they were going to make a killing buying a house that was worth half of what they paid.
But those morons walked away from their homes. Now they are renting at the "Second Chance Villas" trying to sell the Hummer and patiently waiting for seven years to pass. Heck, if they wait a couple of years, the FHA will give them another mortgage.
Now, we have to bail out the slimes that actually made a killing on these mortgages or BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN.
Yeah, like the "Langston IVs" of the world will have to sell their Lamborghinis.
