Indeed. One of many interesting questions to ask is when that 360 joints business first mentioned.

Human beings have 360 joints, nine bodily openings, and five yin and six yang systems of function. In the flesh tightness is desirable; in the blood vessels free flow is desirable; in the sinews and bones solidity is desirable; in the operations of the heart and mind harmony is desirable; in the essential Qi regular motion is desirable. When [these desiderata] are realized, illness has nowhere to abide, and there is nothing from which pathology can develop. When illness lasts and pathology develops, it is because the essential Qi has become static. . . ."
There are what 300 bones in the body. The Quran is simply wrong about this. The fly's wing is also nonsense and so is the stream of fresh water cutting through salt. Sheer flow force might keep salt out for a while, but that would be known to all.

Look, mates, you don't need to sell the Quran to believers - they believe already. But you are not going to sell it to Christians because they believe there is science in the Bible, and you won't sell it to us skeptics because we know there is science in neither.

There is no issue that it is written in the Sunnah there are 360 joints in the body. By the 7th century there were already autopsies and any normal person can count the number of joints in a physical body. This is a very simple thing to verify as counting number of bones, head, nose, dick, breasts, any body parts, etc.
Another point is the statement of 360 joints in the Sunnah could have been written long after the death of Muhammad when autopsy Science are more prevalent. Therefore the one who wrote this point in the Sunnah [Ahadith?] merely plagiarized the point from others.
Btw, the Quran stated Muhammad was merely a warner, conveyor of good tidings, reminderer, [a tape recorder or parrot] of the eternal message of Allah and nothing more than that.
The fact that you blindly claim the above is an insult to your own intelligence and very shameful.
This show those who insist it was Muhammad who discovered this scientific fact has very low self-esteem.

you are missing the main objective of all these threads about scientific facts in the Holy Quran or in the saying of The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him)
The main objective is to help those who do not believe in the creator or do not believe in his final messenger , to help them find the truth
by highlighting all these scientific facts that can not be declared by some one illiterate lived 1400 ago years in a desert area and his main experience are camels .
How could The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) say these scientific if he did not receive them from Allah
