Can anyone tell me where is there a site that has deposit amounts or terms to connect with utilities in the 32256 area?We are moving there in September and I'm just wondering what we can expect to need for these. We just came out of Chapter 13 bankruptcy, but we have always paid our utility bills on time without fail.

Very simple. Your best bet is to contact the utility companies directly and ask what is their policy for deposits and terms for someone in your situation.

In Jacksonville, we have one utility company that handles the majority of the electric, water, and sewer services in the area. An exception would be for some of the beaches areas. Call the Jacksonville Electric Authority at 904-665-6000.

Comcast for cable/internet/TV can be reached at 904-374-8000 or 800-COMCAST.

Like Eric posted JEA handles it all basically. I went to the JEA office on Beach Blvd wasn't there but for maybe 45 minutes took care of it all. Called Comcast on the cell phone, they were out here 2 days later, hooked it all up. Very fast and good service from both.(so far) Due to financial problems they will probably want a higher deposit. Take your previous receipts in with you to show you always paid your utilities on time as that may help some.
