I am interested in selling property in Suwannee County and having not lived there in decades don't personally know any realtors. Have asked several friends and family members ending with no one clear choice. Just wondering if there is a way to check online the number of transactions a realtor has sold in the past year, two years, three years, etc.

I did call a couple of Realtors and asked how many properties they sold in 2012 and both wanted to meet with me in person "to discuss it".

Thanks,

Matchell

I think a better question would be how many homes that you (the Realtor) listed for sale sold in 2011. And what was the average length of each listing, and what % of the original sales price did they sell for.

That information isn't publically available, unless that sales agent, or more importantly their broker, makes it available. My suggestion is to interview a half dozen sales associates at both big and small brokerage firms, and specifically ask that question. In a small market like Suwannee County, it is very likely that a listing agent would sell their own listings, unlike the Northeast Florida market, where listing agents rely heavily on other sales associates, via the Multiple Listing Service, to sell their listings. Good luck!
