Hi I'm Mexican from Illinois I will move to Jacksonville sick of Ilinois and Its winter weather I know there more Puerto ricans there than Illinois I'm also aware there's a significant amount of Mexicans here the relatioship between its terrible not sure exactly why how do Mexicans and Puerto ricans get along there do they date ? do hang as friends ? Is there any beef or what? I speaking of people all of ages I hope I get replies from someone who lives there and has experienced

I don't know of any animosity between the groups here in Jax, but I'm not really involved in either of those ethnic communities.

I've lived here for 50 of my 60 years (the last 30 in a row) and like projectmaximus says I know of no ongoing hostilities between Mexicans or Puerto Ricans. It seems like both groups are working hard to improve their families lives here in J-ville.

Not many Mexicans or Puerto Ricans here. I have noticed alot of Asians. Broward and Dade Counties have a higher population. Not sure if there is any beef between them either...best of luck!
