Recently moved into the area; please don't be hating. Was wondering where this strobe light tower is. It is SW of my current location. It seems to be a 3 second light and it is very bright. Bright enough that is shows around the edges of my blinds and lights my bedroom at night. I think it might be located on Blount Island.

Anyone know the exact location and it's actual purpose?

Thank you.

Does it move from side to side or just illuminate and then go dark?

If it is rotating it may be from an air strip nearby.

Sir -- it just flashes on then immediately off, about every 3 seconds. Also, it is just above the local tree line and the light actually reflects off the water.

I would advise these tactics:

"I cant help it if some of the light goes across the road. Put something up in your window."

Where do you live, as it could be one of the river location/range lights or it could be
from Blount Island. The only lighthouse out that way is the Mayport Light and it goes
FLASH .... flash and then a 4 seconds of darkness interval. But if the light is SW of
your house I doubt if it's the Mayport Light, because basically only the ocean is NE of it.
