Our waste control system gave out some new cans some time ago, but i have a couple old plastic can's that need to be trashed some how.

Ideas ??

Unless you can somehow catch the garbage crew and walk outside and let them know to also throw away the cans, I'd find a dumpster somewhere and toss 'em in there.

You can put a sign on the can that says "please take can" which is what I did up north.

Our garbage men fly through a million miles an hour. They'd probably throw away the note without reading it and leave the garbage can.

I had no problem a month or so back when I put a note saying, garbage please take, on our old cans. They were gone!

If it's recyclable plastic, put it in the big recycle bin and fill it with the smaller stuff you recycle ...that's how I got rid of several

Good idea but they only pick up every 2 weeks and my recycle can is always full.
