Great Jax poll idea. And I like that we can't debate/argue/rant. Just a good sbapshot of Jax CDers' choices.

You know, it seems like the more conservative of an area, the more liberal the City-Data board leans. I didn't vote because I don't live in JAX but personally I would not be satisfied with myself if I voted for either one.

Oh, I know I'm always welcome to tag along about subjects such as politics, burglary, and bootleg frozen yogurt on your (very) friendly forum, but I just didn't want to skew the poll .

Obama's voting record:
Project Vote Smart - Senator Barack H. Obama Jr. - Voting Record

Mccain's voting record:
Project Vote Smart - Senator John Sidney McCain III - Voting Record

Obama is a bit of an unknown when it comes to experience. He is very eloquent and charismatic but so is an Insurance Salesman.

Mccain doesn't have much charisma.

I would like to see who the running mates are to make a decision between the two.

Who knows? Maybe Bloomberg will run for president.

But, except for certain pockets, Jacksonville has voted very strongly republican in recent elections.

And we don't even have to think, the MEDIA will tell us who to support.
