Hi 6/3,

Even though I am not nearly a diehard FSU fan, I finished my graduate degree in Molecular Biology at FSU.

Did you attend FSU?

No i didn't attend FSU....but i have lived about a third of my life in Jacksonville as i was stationed with the U.S. Navy there (Mayport) and i also lived there afterwards as a civilian and although i'm not a diehard sports fan i pull for FSU.

I love florida and it's beaches and the awesome sunshine there and would like to move back out there again. It's the only state that comes close of a feel to the tropical Caribbean Islands and Central America i.e. Nassau to Grenada to Jamaica to St. Croix to Panama etc. as i enjoyed visiting all these tropical places.

Thanks for the post Jinglebell .

I just finished two weeks trip to the central america (mostly on the Caribbean side). I have lived in Tallahassee for 3 years because of school.

I have moved from the east globe to the west globe and east coast to the west coast and within each coast..... I basically loved every single place I stayed! For some of the places, I probably would not pick for living because of the humidity and bugs. My favorite is Rhode Island, the new England area. I started to appreciate the warm climate in CA more since I am getting so passionate about tennis. Unfortunately ocean water here is never warm enough for me.

So you were in navy. Tell us some about your naval experience. I am assuming you never were involved in any combat activity? Well, I am one of very few girls interested in military and history.

We went to the Caribbean in July. Did you know that you cannot donate blood for one year from the time you leave the Caribbean Islands? Jamaica and Haiti will put you on the list to wait one year to donate.
(P.S. Cheering for USF... *go Bulls!*)
