I just got an email saying that I was invited to interview with MGA Business Consulting for the Account Manager position. I will be calling them when I'm off of work this afternoon.

Hopefully it will turn into a real job .

Do you think it's a good idea to send a thank you letter after the interview? It's on Monday at 3:45 PM.

It is a "real" job if you want to sell Cable or Satelite TV packages at Walmarts or Sam's Club. Trust me, I interviewed with them on Valentine's day this year. Glad I didn't get that job...

I've gotten thank you emails right after interviewing people before. I don't think it'll hurt.

If you do send a thank you letter, include something specific about the interview or it will look like something you did just because you felt had to.

I just got out of the interview. They said I should be expecting a call around 530-630 tonight if I made into the next round where they'll explain the pay, schedule, work environment, and jobshadowing.
