Job searching (income, resume, bill, staffing)

I am in south Jersey and for the last 6 years my life has been spent taking care of sick relative, taking care of the house and bills. My only income has been some transcript editing which i do not like. Sending out resume is waste of time, I get ignored. What are some decent staffing agencies i could sign up with to get my foot in the door someplace? I don't know what other options i have at 43 years old
