Answer to OP "Just listen." You will have the opportunity to learn more about Torah when you go to your rabbi or read about why we interpret it "our" way and why they may see it differently. Not a big deal.

I spoke in tongues for 40 years and it always helped because I did it when I was upset and speaking in tongues make everyone cry because they believe in what they are doing. I came to a point in my life where I no longer believed in doing it, I no longer believed it was from God but it was a big part of who I was before that. It's really hard to give something like that up, I mean, a person who thinks he is working in a spirit from God has little chance of getting over it because it makes him think he is some great prophet working in gifts. Now people will try and pray for me by laying on hands and I will push them away, and when they start speaking in tongues, it just angers me.
