I knew I had that coming. It was well-deserved. I agree, and I promise to do so.

I am still thinking about the Noland road question

Now your challenge is to find an earlier name for Noland Rd.

Are you thinking of Phillips Road??

Nope! If that is a correct answer I'll add it to the list. I'm looking for the 1892 name for Noland Rd.

On one of my RR maps, is shows Noland becoming Phillips, outside the city limits to the south. I'll look further......

Sorry MAD, all the rest of my maps are newer and show it as Noland. I did notice one thing I hadn't before. That is that ELECTRIC and LEXiNGTON existed at the same time. They met at UNION St.

That's one I hadn't noticed, thanks for adding to my list. There is at least one more name, and perhaps two, hiding back there.

What latest year are you talking about here? The Union St nexus Maternal family home was just down Maple

Well, this is the first major update to report! There is a plan for a bike + walking trail on the square. It's going to run right passed my house! Take a look: https://express.adobe.com/page/gEhdRT8qhIDqD/

On the 1892 Sanborn Insurance map there is no Noland Rd. The section north of Walnut is shown as "First Cross". From Walnut to Short there is no road. South of Short it is labeled "Harmony".
