Why not split the 5 days between KC and St Louis? Unless I have friends, I'd get kind of bored with any city after about 5 days of vacationing.

Man, some of you guys aren't very adventurous. I've done 1-2 weeks in middle of nowhere small towns and not have any problems. I guess that separates the tourists from the travelers. Tourists just go from point a/b, spend a couple hours then done, ready to leave town without really experiencing any depth.

Seems people who quickly get bored with cities are unadventurous boring people themselves.

I’m bored in small towns in about 30 minutes. People have different interests man, doesn't mean they are boring.

It's easy to spend five days in a good sized city, but I always start to want to see the next city and then come back to the first city some other time to dig deeper.

If I were from Denver and visited KC, I would probably want to hit St Louis too on the same trip and begin to look forward to heading to see StL after a few days. Then once I'm in StL, I would start seriously considering an extension to Chicago or Memphis. But I have ADD I think.

I)
Right, people are different. So don't make the presumption that most people would only last 3 days in any city or even small town.
